Rodrigo y Gabriela visit WYEP 91.3FM in Pittsburgh for an interview and performance before a live studio audience. They played updated versions of Hanuman, Buster Voodoo and Diablo Rojo and were interviewed by Mike Sauter, host of the Midday Mix who did a great job.
Their appearance was delayed by 90 minutes because Rod and Gab didn’t get their wake up call in Washington, D.C. Later this morning, they tweeted: “On our way to pittsburgh now, feckin alarm clock needs its own alarm clock cause never called! We’ll make it on time for the radio session!” So it was amusing when WYEP tweeted a little while later: “NEW TIME for today’s Rodrigo y Gabriela Studio Session: Today’s Studio Session with Rodrigo y Gabriela has been moved to 2PM”.
They made it to Pittsburgh and the WYEP studios, maybe a little late and we recorded the whole thing and present it here for your listening pleasure.
